Just like last year, our sports day took place at the SG sports field. The first- and second-graders kicked off the day with sports activities first thing in the morning. Starting at 10 a.m., the third- and fourth-graders took the field to compete in various events.
Numerous stations had been set up across the expansive grounds, where the children could demonstrate their skills in the long throw, standing long jump, coordination jump, endurance run, and sprint. In small groups, they moved from station to station. They were accompanied by enthusiastic parents who cheered them on and supported them wholeheartedly. A special highlight was the large bouncy castle, where the children could let off steam and play during breaks.
A successful day with lots of exercise, team spirit and enjoyment of sport! We would like to thank all the helpers and SG Gronau for the use of the sports field.
