To celebrate World Book Day, the fourth graders visited the Buchhandlung am Markt bookstore. There, they took part in an exciting and interactive book scavenger hunt based on the book *Der fliegende Klassenscooter*. After successfully completing the scavenger hunt, all the students received a copy of the book as a gift. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Buchhandlung am Markt bookstore for their warm hospitality during our visit. It was a wonderful field trip. The students read the story during reading time over the next few weeks and found it very exciting.
Read for yourselves:
"Lisa, Orhan, and Dennis are best friends: What unites them is their dislike of all science subjects. They’re real ‘science flops.’ Then they’re given an unusual homework assignment: They’re supposed to invent something useful for the future. And, surprisingly, they end up having a lot of fun doing it. Shortly afterward, they set off on a trip to the local Museum of the Future and accidentally travel to the year 2176. There, they encounter one of their own inventions… So maybe they aren’t ‘science flops’ after all."
