On June 3, 2025, the traditional Stadtwerke Elementary School Cup for Gronau’s elementary schools took place. With full teams of 10 students each from grades 1 through 4, we kicked off the tournament at 10 a.m., full of enthusiasm. Matches were played on a total of 8 fields, using small goals (for grades 1 and 2) and large goals (for grades 3 and 4). All the students showed their best skills on the field. There were plenty of goals scored, shots blocked, dribbles across the field, and enthusiastic cheering. The children spent their breaks at the concession stand.
Regardless of the final ranking, we think all the children gave their all and played as a team with joy, passion and fun. We are proud of our teams and look forward to next year.
