At the start of each new school year, the third-graders take on the role of mentors for the new first-graders. Through shared breakfasts and recess breaks, a school scavenger hunt, or storytime sessions, the new students get to know the school building, their classmates, and the daily school routine better, allowing them to quickly and confidently find their way around school.
