When the days get shorter and the smell of cookies wafts through the corridors, a very special time begins at our school: the Advent and Christmas season. This year, it was once again characterized by community, music and many happy moments.
Every Monday during Advent, all pupils and teachers gathered in front of the large Advent wreath in the entrance area of the school. They sang together and the glow of the candles created a festive atmosphere. With each additional candle, it became a little brighter - and the anticipation of Christmas a little greater. The song "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" was particularly popular this year . Everyone sang along loudly and enthusiastically, clapped to the beat and clearly enjoyed the lively Christmas carol.
Christmas was also in the air in the classes. A whole baking and craft day was on the agenda. Cookies were cut out, decorated and, of course, tasted. The smell of vanilla, cinnamon and freshly baked cookies permeated the school building. At the same time, many creative works of art were created: Christmas cards, stars, little angels and lovingly designed decorations soon adorned the classrooms and windows.
A special highlight was the joint Christmas party with Gika. We celebrated and laughed together in a festive atmosphere. There was a lot of dancing and singing - the joy was palpable everywhere. The party was an opportunity to strengthen the community.
Christmas time at our school this year was once again a time of togetherness, creativity and joy. It has shown how wonderful it is to celebrate, sing and share special moments together. The Advent season is not only a time of preparation for Christmas, but also a valuable time of cohesion in our school community.
