What a wonderful surprise for our school community! With a lot of commitment, heart and energy, the helpful parents from the parents' café baked and distributed fresh waffles for around 200 pupils and teachers.
In the morning, there was already a delicious smell of freshly baked dough in the school building. The parents' café was a hive of activity: Dough was stirred, waffle irons were heated up and waffle after waffle was baked until golden brown. With a lot of patience and good humor, the parents made sure that everyone got to enjoy the sweet treat.
They were distributed to the classes during the breakfast break and you could see beaming faces everywhere. Whether dusted with powdered sugar or simply plain - the waffles tasted great and created a special atmosphere in the school day. The staff were also very happy about this loving gesture.
Such activities show how valuable the cooperation between parents and school is. The commitment of the parents from the parents' café not only ensured full stomachs, but above all great joy. A big thank you to all the hard-working helpers for this successful waffle day!
