On Friday, February 12, 2026, our school was transformed into a cheerful and colorful house of fools. Princesses, superheroes, animals, wizards and many other imaginative characters were already streaming through the corridors in the morning. Most of the children were dressed up in creative costumes and caused astonished looks and an exuberant atmosphere as soon as they arrived.
The classes ate breakfast together and shared the treats they had brought with them. There was lots of laughter, stories and, of course, admiring the costumes. A special highlight was the fashion show, where all the children were able to present their costumes on a "catwalk". The imaginative costumes were proudly presented to applause and cheers.
Afterwards, there was plenty of dancing and celebrating together. Cheerful music resounded through the school building and created a great atmosphere. A big thank you goes to the volunteer parents who offered a face painting station. With a lot of patience and artistic skill, they also transformed the children into sparkling butterflies, wild tigers or glittering fantasy figures.
The crowning glory of the day was a large polonaise with all the pupils and teachers through the entire school building. The colorful line wound its way happily through the corridors to the schoolyard, where the celebrations continued together.
The carnival party was an all-round successful celebration full of joy, fellowship and good humor - a day that everyone will remember for a long time to come.
