After the school enrolment service in the Protestant church, the new pupils and their families were warmly welcomed in the schoolyard of the Martin Luther School in bright sunshine. The children in Year 3 welcomed all the guests with rehearsed dance routines and musical contributions and showed how much fun it is to learn at school. The first graders were allowed to join in with the pirate dance. Afterwards, class teacher Ms. Lange and class teacher Mr. Hölscher welcomed their new pupils and took them to their new classes for their first lesson. Meanwhile, the families enjoyed a cup of coffee and got to know each other and the school.
This day was an unforgettable start to school for our new first graders. We look forward to accompanying them on their school journey and experiencing many wonderful moments together.
