Our school at the Gronau Jazz Festival - an unforgettable concert experience!

On the Tuesday after the vacations, the time had finally come: we made our way to the opening of this year's Gronau Jazz Festival with the whole school - and it was a real highlight!

Together with around 800 children from various schools, we were able to experience a very special concert. The band David Helbock's Random/Control feat. Fola Dada played a rousing jazz concert exclusively for us. The four musicians wowed the audience with an incredible variety of instruments - including grand piano, saxophone, flute, alphorn, tuba, trumpet and even beatbox and vocals. The children were fascinated by the sounds and skills of the artists.

The atmosphere was great: everyone clapped, sang and danced along - and it was great fun! In the middle of the concert, some children from another school were allowed to interview the musicians on stage. They asked interesting questions, for example about their favorite instrument or how the musicians got into music.

It was an exciting morning full of music, movement and good humor - a great start to the Jazzfest, which is still taking place in Gronau all week. We say: Thank you for this great experience!
