Third graders visit the public library

Last week, the children in the third grade went on an exciting excursion to the Gronau public library. There they were warmly welcomed by Ms. Feldmann, who gave them a tour of the library.

In the reading café, the children first learned what a library actually is, how to find their way around and which rules are important in the library. Ms. Feldmann then presented the library's wide range of services: In addition to a large selection of books, there are also games and Tonie figures to borrow, for example.

The children were then allowed to browse through the shelves on their own. Anyone who found an exciting or interesting book could make themselves comfortable and browse through it straight away.

At the end, each child was given a registration form to take home - because borrowing media is free for children.

Many thanks to Ms. Feldmann for the great tour! Many children were impressed by the large selection and are already looking forward to their next visit to the library.
